Baby Issac is here!

Well this week was a crazy week. Wednesday afternoon we rushed to Ventura because my sister in law went into labor and her contractions were 5-10 minutes apart. I was supposed to be there to help her with her labor with coaching and massaging or whatever she needed. Well it was a little bit of a challenge with the two babies and with me nursing Kai. We were able to have my family watch Brandon while we were away and Ian came along to watch Kai. So we arrived there Wednesday afternoon and we all stayed up all night with Jess. Well come Thursday morning her contractions were 2-3 min apart so we went to the hospital and they checked her and she was only 1-2 cm. I think we all wanted to cry because she had been in labor since Tuesday. The good news was that the baby was doing fine and they sent Jess home to labor more until things progressed more. So Thursday afternoon Ian and I and the baby decided it would be best to leave them for a bit so Jess didn't have any distractions and could relax and focus on her labor. And we would go home, I would pump as much as I could and wait until she got closer and haul booty down to Ventura. Well Saturday afternoon I got a call from Joshy that she was admitted into the hospital and she was 5cm and they broke her water so I hauled booty down to the hospital. Well by the time I got there she had gotten an epidural (she had wanted to do it natural). But she was a trooper. So we just hung out and by 3:30 she was ready to push and 4:20 we welcomed baby Issac into the world. He is so adorable! My brother even let me hold him before he held him. It was such an amazing experience. To watch my brother become a daddy right before my eyes. Well after about a half an hour I had to shoot home to nurse my little one. I did my best not to die driving home since I had gotten no sleep. So I 'm still alive! The other pics are of course of our beautiful Lily and her sporting a couple outfits that I had gotten for a $1 each. And of my little Bubba and I when he wasn't feeling to good.

Fourth of July and baby pics

I know this is a little late but oh well. For the fourth of July Kickboxer and I got to have a little bit of a date night or a date afternoon courtesy of Mimi and Papa. We got to go see The Proposal and it was pretty funny. Then we went back over to Mimi and Papa's house to eat some good BBQ and hang out for a little bit. Later on that night we headed over to my parents house to watch the fireworks since Palmdale Highschool does them and my parents house is right next to the school. Growing up there we used to climb up to the roof and watch the fireworks and I knew it was a good spot but I kinda forgot how good they were from there. So we were pretty happy we went to my parents instead of by the fairgrounds. Earlier this week I did a little at home photo shoot with Buggie. The pictures came out so cute but I still want to edit and play with them a little bit before posting them but for now here is one of them. The other pics of her is just us hanging out and Bubba being sweet to her.

Josh and Jess' shower/UFC 100/Rockband

This past weekend we had a good ol' time. We had Jess' and Josh's surprise shower, UFC 100 and we played Rockband. Jess' shower was Snoopy themed since she absolutley loves Snoopy. She is already having 2 other showers so this shower was just with our family which was perfect. We kept it really simple. I made spagetti with rolls and pineapple on the side and Jen made cookies and brownie cupcakes and my mom made tamas. I was going to make the cake but it is crazy insane expensive for a Snoopy cake pan ($50 whopping bucks!). So I ordered one from Albertsons instead. Which originally I was bummed about because homemade cake is so much better but this cake turned out soooo yummy! It was white cake with fresh strawberries for the filling and whipped cream for the frosting and it was really cute. Josh and Jess were perfectly on time. Only problem is she had to pee really bad so the first thing she said was " Oh I have to pee". Luckily she made it to the bathroom o.k. She was very happy with the shower which made all of us happy. Andrew and Brandon had a blast of course. The ballons kept them busy for most of the day. They also "jumped boom" on the bed and played Rockband by helping us with the tamberines. One of the pics is of them hiding in their Batcave. Speaking of Rockband one of the best parts of the night was my dad singing "Bad to the Bone" with Ian's cowboy hat on and an IBC in his hand..looking like a crazy drunk cowboy. We also played some baby shower games. We played the baby memory game where you have to memorize as many baby items on a tray as possible. And also the baby food game. My favorite...since I got to see the funniest expressions from my brothers. Josh thought the chicken baby food tasted like dogfood. And at the end of the night Andrew and Brandon insisted on taking a bath. Then there's UFC 100. All in all it was an o.k pay per view. I was really hoping Frank Mir would take the win and beat the crap out of Lesnar but that didn't happen. On the plus side even though he got his face beat in his midsection did look pretty sweet. He came in much better shape this time. Poor Ian though..he's still pretty bummed out. The only fight that saved it for me was the Bisping vs. Henderson fight. That knock out made me happy and it was well deserved. Well I'm going back to Muay Thai tonight so pray for me. I haven't been for about a year.Pan's gonna kick my butt tonight. But I'm looking forward to it:)

Jess' shower and Buggie's 1st beach day

Last weekend I went to Ventura for my sister in law's baby shower that her Grandma threw for her. Little does she know that Jen and I are throwing her a surprise shower on the 11th. So stay tuned for pics after the shower. Anyway, the shower was pretty fun. We played a couple games, had some good food and Jess opened her gifts. Its pretty funny because after all these years of Jess being in our family we finally got to meet some of her family. Her Grandma is what we were calling a Mexican Palauan. Meaning she is Mexican but reminds me so much of a Palauan. Basically she tells it like it is and when you try to go home she tries to send all the food home with you. Here is a pic of Jess opening one of our gifts to her. It was also exciting to see her cute growing belly. We ended up staying the night because I get pooped too easily right now with the drive there and nursing all day. And the next day I was super stoked because we got to go to the beach and it was a first of many beach days for Lilybug. She pretty much chilled on the beach and slept the whole time which was fine with me because I got to go for a swim. Sweet! Always sad to leave the ocean though. Man! I need an ocean in my backyard!

Father's Day and cute Baby Kai pics

Well for Father's day we went to church, came home napped for a little bit then visited both of our families. Here are some cute pics of Grampi and Daddy with Lilybug. The one with Grampi is super cute cuz they are smiling at one another. Here are also some recent pics of Buggie looking sweet and adorable.
