Daniel and his twin

This is a picture of our baby Daniel and his look a like. And also what has been going on since the baby has been here and I have been resting. My mom has been helping out so much. She's been helping with too many things to even list. But one of the things I am most grateful for is that she comes to help out with the kids. One of the days Andrew came over with her and made Christmas cookies with Bubba. Of course everytime Drew Drew and Bubba hang out one of them is Batman and the other is Spiderman. We also captured a picture of them hanging out on the recliner and holding hands.

Baby is here!

Born 12/8 he was 7 lbs 10 oz and 19 inches long. It was another water birth at home. When he was born he was still in the water sack! Oceanbaby did great and is feeling so much better already. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and thoughts.

Thanksgiving, Dinosaur Bubba, and Swordfighting Lily

Here are a few pics of our Thanksgiving. We did the usual. We went to Mimi and Papa's first and then to my parents. We had tons of fun and tons of food! My mom recently gave Bubba this Dinosaur costume and one evening we thought he would have fun dressing up for the night...and he sure did! Also here is a video of our Lilybug showing off her swordfighting skills. She's quite a natural!

39 and 1/2 weeks

Here I am at 39 and 1/2 weeks. Hopefully it won't be too much longer. I want to hold my baby in my arms and give him big kisses. Something that brightens my day is owning the sweetest maternity shirt on the planet! My new Steelers maternity tee! When I purchased it I also got a matching onesie for the baby and a bib. Go STEELERS!!

37 weeks

Bubba is 4 years old!

Our little man is offically 4 years old!! I'm so proud of our Brandon. He has always been such a lovebug and he is becoming such a good helper. Whether he helps to clean up the house, or keep his sister in line, or give me a sweet smile to lift me up, or to cuddle up with me and tell me he loves me. I appreciate every single moment with my baby boy. As I have always said, he is Mama's medicine. He just makes me feel so loved. And I can't even begin to tell you how much his Daddy loves and appreciates him. He is Daddy's best friend. And Lilybug, she may fight tooth and nail with him over every little thing but every once in a while if your lucky you'll see those precious moments where they will hug and kiss each other. Brandon we love you buddy! Happy 4th Birthday! For Brandon's b-day we took him to all the places that he loves. He got to go to the gym in the morning to play basketball and later we went to Apollo Park. And on the way there we found the musical road that everyone is always talking about! Once we got to the park we feed the ducks a loaf of bread. And let me tell you those birds are psychotic! You know they have to be pretty crazy knowing how much I love nature and animals. After that Bubba and Lily played on the jungle gym. Well Bubba did and Lily stuck to the swings. Then we took him to the mall to go up and down the escalator and watch the coin go around and around. Oh and I can't forget how much I suck. I was so excited to make him his birthday cake that I forgot to put eggs in it. And I didn't even remember until the timer when off and I saw the eggs in the fridge. I blame it totally on my pregnancy brain! UGH!! I felt so bad I wanted to cry. It all worked out because we ended up buying a really delicous oreo cake. We had our family over later on that evening to open gifts and eat cake and ice cream. Brandon made out like a bandit! He got so many Batman, Spiderman, Toy Story and Phineus and Ferb toys. He was a happy kid. Lily was having the time of her life eating off of my mom's cake plate. She had about five minutes to get in all the cake she could and then I pulled her off. Afterwards she was stumbling around from the sugar coma. The girl never gets sweets like that so she definatley enjoyed it. And we kept to our new tradition of getting all of kids one gift no matter whos b-day it is. So we got Lilybug her own camelback water bottle since she is always drinking out of mine. Bubba has one coming too. We just have to find a design he likes. My mom also got her a pair of baby Ugg boots. Too cute!

Baby Shower

We weren't planning on having a baby shower but my mom really wanted to throw a little one so we could celebrate and get the odds and ends that we were still needing for the baby. It ended up being kinda chaotic but fun. From the start of the day I just didn't feel right. I was feeling really nauseous and tired. And on top of that Lilybug wasn't feeling good either and she wouldn't go to anyone else but me. Thankfully later on she went to Daddy to give me a break. Lily ended up throwing up during the party and Daddy and I were puking all night long. We are still recovering. The really great part about this gathering was having all of my aunts together in one place. It was the first time they had seen Lilybug and I hadn't seen them in forever. Especially since one of my aunts lives in Illinois I was really grateful that they could be there.
