Our little mermaid turns 3
Our Lilybug is now a year older and I don't know how time has passed so quickly but it has. We are so blessed to have Lily as our baby girl. She's got so much love for us and she makes all of us feel so special. She has such a big heart and she's the best cuddle buggie and her hugs and kisses are to die for. She is the perfect mix of tough and girly and being the tomboy that I am I appreciate it all. She even makes girly stuff interesting and worthwhile for me because it's her and she is what makes everything special. I would rather be with her than any other girl on the planet. One trait that most of the time drives me crazy about her is that she is very emotional. And I mean VERY emotional. She can and will cry at the drop of a hat. It nuts! Makes me wonder what it will be like when she hits teenage-hood. But its what makes her Lily and we love it! On the day of her birthday she opened most of her presents from us and here's the fun...
Per tradition, all the kids get one gift with every birthday. Bubba got a Cars 2 bike.
And Dudu got a Jake and the Neverland Pirates with Peter Pan DVD. Which they all love and were excited about.
For the Lily birthday present finale she got a Strawberry Shortcake bike! She adores it and is starting to ride it pretty good. In no time she be instructing Spin classes with Mama!
I LOVE this photo! Daddy and Bubba helping her along her first time on her new bike. Sweetness!

Here we go again....
Yes here I am again trying to play catch up with our blog. Life is way too busy right now. Super duper fun but way too busy. To start ya'll off I have to begin with the best part of my daily life. The blessing of enjoying my sweet babies.
Bubba and Olu looking cute as ever.
My sweet thangs:)
Bubba and his cousin Issac.
J.J's oreo birthday cake that I made for him. Ummmmm delici-O-so!!! That's Ian's word for delicious in case you didn't figure that out.
My darling Lily. Gosh she is too cute!
Easter hunting:)
As usual because we are so blessed to live close to Mimi and Papa we got to enjoy Easter dinner with them. I'm always stoked to see Mimi decapitate the bunny cake but the kids were very excited about it. In fact Bubba and Lily kept talking about it for days afterward and saying "There can only be one!!!" Hahahaha! I love my kids.
Sweet Kai Kai bunny kisses.
This is Bubba playing dead with his favorite toy he got from the Easter bunny, his glow in the dark mini sword.

Trader Joe's ad
This really isn't an ad for Trader Joe's but it could be! Our little Danny is just too cute! And he really loves these graham crackers from Trader Joe's.
I'm homeschooling our nephew Drew Drew along with our children. Here they are watching Talking Words Factory with the few minutes of tv they get while school is in session.
And here is Mama's new do. I decided that less hair would be easier to deal with for awhile, at least while I workout and sweat as much as I do. I'm growing it out again but for now I can enjoy boxing and bjj without having to constantly pull my hair up:)

Dudu's a walkin'
Our little Dudu started walking probably a month ago and we are finally getting some footage of his walking cuteness on our blog. Dan Dan has the gnarliest personality out of all of our kids and he is twice as crazy on his feet. Whether he is getting in trouble, playing with his siblings, waking up, dancing and singing or walking around...he is always laughing. We love this kid.

A Chipmunk Christmas
I call this last Christmas that not only because our kiddos love Alvin and the Chipmunks but they ARE Alvin and the Chipmunks. We figured it out..Lilybug is Theodore because she eats anything and everything, Bubba is Simon because he usually is the reasonable one, and Daniel...well you guessed it, he's Alvin because he is the mischievous one. And we find ourselves always yelling DANIEL!!! The Chipmunks have become a part of our Christmas traditions. We probably watched A Chipmunk Christmas and sung the Chipmunk Christmas song ten million times this season. But we wouldn't have it any other way:) We love our Chipmunks.

My pretty girl with her ruby slippers. She just loves The Wizard of Oz...and shoes:)

Daniel thinking "Really Mom, really??" I don't think Daniel was down for waking up early to open gifts:)

Bubba doing his old man walk with his Hershey kisses cane.

The last couple pictures are from our temple trip that I took with Bud, Drew Drew, and Bubba. So beautiful.

Christmas Eve
We're lucky every year to be able to spend Christmas Eve with Kickboxer's family. This year Brad and Mo were here with us for Christmas and it was so rad!! I started a new tradition for Christmas Eve...making smores from Mimi and Papa's firepit. Let me tell you, this makes Christmas Eve even more perfect. Lilybug and Bubba loved it of course, being the outdoor munchkins that they are!

This our fire dance :) Yes, we know how to work the magic of a good smore.

Kickboxer's family's tradition is to open gifts on Christmas Eve. So we did! Everybody had a great time opening gifts but even more wonderful was the time we got to spend together.

Lilybug's love for Aunty Mo has not diminished. She could not get enough of Aunty Mo! And she even gave hugs to Uncle Brad!

The last couple pictures are Bubba hanging up his ornanment and Lilybug and Drew Drew on their way to church. Too adorable!

Dan Dan the man turns 1
We just recently celebrated our little Danny turning one year old. So gnarly!! I can't believe it's already been a year. We had a family party as usual and had some yummy cake.

This is Uncle J.J with Lily doing what they do best and having a good time. Lily thought it was very important for me to get a picture with her wearing her ruby slippers.
