O.K. I'm just doing a new post so I can post some more pictures and also re-post my board pic. And post one more X-mas pic that didn't fit on the last post.Last week I went down to see my nephew, brother, and sis in Temple city. Here is a pic of Andrew dodging the paparazzi. He's too cute! Getting ready for X-mas and new board

So all of my dreams recently came true. O.K just one. I finally got the board of my dreams that I have wanted for seasons! It's a Ride Vista 152 and it's beautiful! I've been searching on Ebay off and on for awhile for this exact board and came across it. Its only been riden once and in excellent condition. No dings or scratches. And here's the best part....I got it for $100! Sweet huh! $100 for a $300 board! I couldn't be more stoked. Perfect timing for our boarding trip in March. Here's a pic of my sweet board. Tuesday we set up the Christmas tree and decorations. Brandon got to put up his candy ornament from last year. The day after it fell off because it was too heavy so we just set it next to the tree. We had egg nog and chocolate while we put up the tree. And of course Dad read the Christmas story from the scriptures. In the words of Mom"And that Charlie Brown is what Christmas is all about".Here's some pics. Also another exciting thing from this week...Kickboxer and I watched Bloodsport on T.V and at the end of it we sang and Ian did the funniest dance to the Kumite part. So next time ya'll see him ask him to do the dance for you! Kickboxer's promotion at work is being put through. Keep your fingers crossed. It should be through by January.

Muay Thai Night

This week was pretty much just overtime for me, so there is only one story to tell at this time, and it's a good one in my eyes.

On Saturday night Oceanbaby and I went to a Muay Thai event in Upland. We took Oceanbaby's brothers along as well. While we would probably have gone to the show anyway, tonight was a special event. Our Kru (teacher) was coming out of retirement to fight. He is 38 years old, and took the fight on a two week notice, along with having a hurt back. This fight would be his first in about 8 years or more. Check out this video of Pan doing Wai Kru.

Round one was pretty solid. He got a little rocked at one point, but came back strong at the end of the round rocking his opponent. Then in round two he got wobbled and his hands dropped and his opponent hit a head kick right to his jaw, knocking him out. It broke my heart, but I'm very proud of his performance. He is doing okay now.

Other than that the fights were great. First off, I must mention that Cecil Peoples was one of the refs for the fights. He is a UFC judge and ref. Later, one of the fighters came out, and I noticed in his corner was "Razor" Rob McCollough, who is the WEC Lightweight champ! Then I also noticed that Tiki Ghosn a former UFC fighter and current WEC fighter was also in his corner. They are both from team Punishment. Oceanbaby then looked through the door where the fighters came out, and saw Tito backstage! Also Kendall Grove was there who is one of Oceanbaby's favorite fighters!

They all came out later, and Oceanbaby and her brothers got to take pictures with Tito. I was too late in getting over there, so I missed out. Bummer! But I did get to take pictures with "Razor" Rob, Tiki, Kendall and Pan. There was a girl fight on the card, and Oceanbaby was super stoked for that fight. The girl we rooted for lost, but only by a crappy decision. We had a blast and except for Pan losing and me not getting a pic with Tito, it was a great night.

Brandon's 1st Birthday!

Well Bubba turned the big 01 on November 8th. But we had his birthday party on November 17th. We were able to have his party at our church building which was nice.
It was a pretty crazy day but it turned out great thanks to our family. They helped out so much. We are so lucky to have them. My brothers were able to come so that just made it complete. My cousins Josh and Jessica were able to make it too. Anyway, we had lots of friends and family there so it was a blast. We had subway sandwich's, fruits, veggies, and we can't forget the cake and cookies. Yummmeee! I made Brandon a Finding Nemo ocean theme cake.

It actually came out pretty good. My sis Jessica helped me with the sand. Without her I couldn't have done it:) She made it a point to let me know that since she helped to sprinkle the sand around the cake she can forever brag that she had a great part in making the cake. She's so right:) Well we also had a pinata. Hope I spelled that right. Andrew was the first to hit the pinata. The pic below is of him and my bro Buddy. Justin busted the hook off of it so the boys re tied it and then Tanner cracked it open. I warned all the parents about all the candy there kids were taking home so they could be prepared.

Brandon ended up falling asleep before cake time. So he got a little 20 min nap and then we woke him up for the cake. My family( especially my sister Jen) was so excited because I never give Brandon junk food. So they kept saying" Hurry Brandon, this is your only chance to eat junk food!". It took him a while to warm up to it and then he had a few bites and he was done. That's my boy! Hopefully it will last. Anyway, I know I talk way to much so I'll wrap it up. Everyone had a great time especially Brandon and that's what counts. The pictures below is of Brandon opening his B-day gifts and of me enjoying my sub sandwich like a lady.
