Kai Lily turns 5!

Our baby girl is getting bigger by the minute! We recently celebrated her 5th birthday. She wanted to get her nails done, ears pierced and have a Frozen birthday. And that's what are sweet girl got!

She did a thousand times better than what I expected at her ear piercing. Only a few tears shed after the second piercing but she still had a smile on her face. Especially after getting a look at her new Hello Kitty earrings. And no she did not eat the lollipops, she ended up donating them to her Daddy.

Sitting pretty with her freshly painted nails. The salon owner realized it was her birthday and gave her $5. One dollar for every year! Very sweet! We will be going their from now on.

This is her face after seeing her cake for the first time.

I'll remember this moment forever. We were singing her Happy Birthday and we locked eyes and smiled at each other through the song. Watery eyes and all. I can hardly believe she is already 5! I'm so thankful for our special relationship. Just as we always say to each other "You're my baby!" and she says "You're my momma!"

This is something I tell her every night when we put her to bed but it is especially fitting with her having a birthday. So to my sweet baby girl,
You is kind.
You is smart.
You is important.

We love you Lilybug!

T-ball and wrestling

Enjoying the sunset after a day at the library.

Playing in the rain.

I woke up to this on a perfect morning in Ventura. Yep, I know. My life rules.

Thanks to our recent rainfall we get to enjoy these beautiful wildflowers everyday. These beauties always bring a smile to my face.

Speaking of beauties, our Kai Lily has started her T-ball season and she's been killin' it!

You know what makes it even more perfect....she's a Pittsburgh Pirate!! It's fate I tell ya :)

Brandon started his first wrestling practice 2 weeks ago. The best part of all is that he got to have my brother Moey (who is a 2 gold medal Micronesian Olympic wrestling champion) at his first practice to help coach him and the head coach is my brother's old coach. So cool.

He seriously LOVES it!

Kip and Lafawnduh

Best. Costumes. Ever.

The kids hula group. This was after their performance at the Creche.
The rest of the pictures are random ones that I came along recently that I meant to add to our last post.

This is a face you will never see J.J make unless he is holding one of his nieces.

 Comparing noses.

Studs.

Family fun over the last few months

Halloween 2013. We present Boo, Raphael, and Mike Wazowski.

Brandon attempting to smile after having a good cry about turning 7 years old. For some reason he thought turning 7 meant he was a grown up and he wouldn't be allowed to live at home anymore . He is now happy to know that he can live at home for however long he likes.

Mimi holding Eden during Brandon's b-day party.

Kai making pumpkin rolls for Thanksgiving.

Daddy looking super sharp for Thanksgiving.

Danny boy had a birthday. Can't believe he turned 3 this year! I made him a coconut pineapple cake. For sure my favorite cake but Ian said it was the best cake ever and Papa loved it too! The birthday boy will eat just about anything but he did love his cake.

Poor baby Eden. She has been teething almost non stop since she was 2 months old. Mama has gotten very little sleep. I hope for baby's sake and mine that she will get some relief very soon.

I can't resist kissing that sweet baby face!

Christmas 2013. What a beautiful moment!

Brad and Mo were here this year for Christmas. We loved our time that we had with them during their visit. Especially Lily. She loves her Auntie Mo.

Daniel trying desperately to quickly get on his Spiderman sweatshirt he got from Santa.

And he's off!

Happy Christmas faces.

Kahealani holding dearly to her gifts from Santa and Uncle Brad and Auntie Mo.

Our tradition of fresh homemade cinnamon rolls and hot cocoa for Christmas morning.

Our girls with their matching Christmas dresses. I love that we can say "our girls"!
