Perfect day
Yesterday I got to go surfing and let's just say it was the perfect day!!! I can't do it any justice trying to explain my experience so I won't even try. All I will say is it was one of the best days of my life. And I was overcome by emotions and feeling Heavenly Father's love for me. Sometimes I feel like the ocean was made just for me. I'll forever be thankful for this beautiful earth he created for us.
LTJ SHOW!!!
Anybody that knows my husband and I knows that LTJ is our band. They've been my baby's favorite band for 15 some years and mine for the last 7. They've been the soundtrack to our lives. They are the radest band ever!!! Not only does their music sound like they are singing directly to us or for us but when we see them live it's unlike any other show. They pour every ounce of energy out just to get you to dance and sing and have a good time. Whenever we get to see them, they always make us feel special by the interaction they give. There are so many great memories we have going to their shows but this last show topped them all. After one of the songs they performed, everything got quiet and it was like a dream, Roger looked at me and reached out his arm and directly handed me a bass pick and smiled at me. I think I stood there staring at him for like 30 secs because I couldn't believe it was happening and said thank you. I still have to pinch myself. Friggin' coolest moment! This is before the show....
After the show...
Bearded mountain man kisses...my favorite:)
Beautiful keikis
I think the title says it all. We could not have been blessed with more beautiful, sweet babies.
Kai Lily is naturally gifted to hula dance and I think she has been practicing since birth! My Auntie Edie made this gorgeous pa'u shirt to help even more with her practice and to prepare her to take hula classes in May. Yeah, she's pumped.

Summer fun
I know we're hittin' fall already but here's some of what we've been up to this summer. We of course got some Dodger baseball in.
Isn't my Ian..wait wait wait..I'm searching for the perfect word....SCRUMPSHOOLESCENT! Really though, isn't his beard divine. Sorry I got distracted for a moment. Back to blogging.
These are our good friends Sol and Shmave. They are pure radness. Seriously, so fun.
Speaking of fun. Here we are just enjoying the gift of the goof.
View of the gorgeous surrounding mountains.
And Friday Night Fireworks:)
And one of the best times ever this summer was getting to surf again for my birthday. It's been way too long so I wanted to get a lesson again to get the most out of it. My instructor was awesome! As always I keep dreaming about the next time I'll get to go out:)
Our Ventura ohana
It feels like its been way too long since we've been able to go to Ventura and just hang out with my family. Recently, we were lucky enough to get to visit with my fam in Ventura for the day. Unfortunatly, Ian had to work and couldn't go with. The only thing I wanted to do besides see my family was to play in the ocean(as usual). So we made a short drive to the beach and made it happen. The kids had a great time but Brandon especially loved it. The older he gets the more I realize how much he is like me. I could see that he feared the ocean but at the same time he was so drawn to it. He kept wanting to go further and further out. What a water baby he is! I absolutly loved it!
This is the picture I took right when we got to the beach and I was busy getting Lily comfy and before I knew it Bubba took off with Uncle Joshy down to the water :) I'm telling ya, this kid's got my soul.
Cuddle huddle after swimming.
We went back home, cleaned the keiki up and hung out for a little bit longer before we had to head back to our home.
This is our nephew Dylan AKA "Pickles". He is too cute.
We had piled into our van to go to the beach together in one vehicle, so we still had to get the boys' carseats out before we left. Well, as I was getting the babies strapped into their seats I realized Issac was getting himself ready to go with us too :) Needless to say he had a total meltdown when he was told differntly. I love those boys.
